As a subject matter expert, Sonja will apply her technical and scientific expertise to answering questions from CASAC as they review the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for particulate matter and ozone.
A Managing Consultant in the Amherst office, Sonja said, “This is a great honor. Sonja is an environmental health scientist with over 20 years of exposure and health risk assessment experience. She has particular expertise in assessing exposures and risks from airborne gases and particles. Sonja earned a doctoral degree in environmental health sciences and a master’s degree in environmental health management, both from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, where she also served as a post-doctoral fellow.
