He has advised clients from various industries, including ports and rail, quarries and mines, foundries and recyclers, chemical manufacturers and consumer products suppliers, in addition to property developers and local planning agencies.
Michael has estimated emissions and modeled dispersion of numerous sources of airborne contaminants, using the results to conduct human health risk assessments under federal, state and local regulations, including California’s Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Proposition 65 (Prop65) and the Air Toxics “Hot Spots” Program (AB2588). He earned an MSE in chemical engineering and an MSE in environmental engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BS in chemical engineering from Stanford University.
