Gary Le Carpentier is a Technical Director within the Structures Group of Ramboll in the UK. He joined as a Senior Engineer in 2007 and became a Technical Director in 2015.
Gary has over twenty five years of experience in structural engineering. He is a Chartered Technical Director in the London office and is responsible for design and delivery of projects within the team.
Throughout his career he has gained experience in design and delivery of numerous projects within the Health, Education and Residential sectors. He is fully conversant in the design of buildings utilising Steel, Concrete and Timber. He has a detailed knowledge of concrete frame structures to include post tensioned and precast hybrid concrete structures. Gary is the Ramboll UK lead for design of precast concrete structures and is actively involved in precast design development within Ramboll.
Gary has extensive experience of management of large value projects, to include £225m new build Tunbridge Wells Hospital (Winner of 2012 IStructE Awards) and £190m Riverlight residential complex.
Award winning development covering 25 sq km contains a Formula 1 track, hotels and a retail centre. Ramboll developed a flexible approach to engineering so we could meet the programme challenges. Our early involvement with the theme park focused on the schematic design of its 90,000 sqm roof.
